Stan Mansion is among the most unique venues in the City of Chicago. An early 20s Logan Square historic landmark, this magnificent manor accommodated throughout the years a long list of significant human gatherings. Situated in the intersection of Kedzie and Fullerton, two major traffic arteries of this bustling metropolis, Stan Mansion has a remarkable architecture and is quite probably among the most photographed classic buildings in the city.

Stan Mansion hosts any special gatherings including weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, anniversaries, theater performances and concerts. Its majestic personality will provide a remarkable setting for your extraordinary occasion.

At the Stan Mansion we offer you the possibility of fully customizing your own event .The beautiful Ballroom on the second floor accommodates up to 300 guests for a sit-down event and up to 400 guests for a cocktail party.

Our Cocktail Room has two built in bars and an intimate, refined look. This space is perfect for your cocktail hour or a small event of up to 50 guests. On the first floor of the Mansion the sizable entrance can also be used for your cocktail hour. During the warm season, the large front garden lavishly decorated with flowers provides a romantic entrance but also a cool temporary retreat from the clamor of the party.

A second large room on the first floor can become your ceremony location and is perfect for corporate events and team building. This versatile space can become a gym or a sanctuary, a rehearsal hall or a ballroom, excellent for a fundraiser but also for a ping-pong tournament.

Formerly a Masonic temple,  Stan Mansion’s grand façade and elegant interiors reflect the design by Moritz F. Straugh. Built in 1921 and completely restored in 2012, Stan Mansion is located in the historic and charming Logan Square, recognized as one of the oldest neighborhoods in Chicago.

Stan Mansion is a part of the 2 1/2 miles of the Logan Square Historic District, an area that has remained virtually unchanged for over 100 years and what’s most impressing is that the grandiose building was built in just six months.

Built to house a chapter of the Knights Templar, the building remained a Masonic lodge for a majority of its years until Cera Stan bought the Temple and took on the maintenance and restoration of the building, including a recent and complete restoration in 2012 that finally returned the building to its original splendor.

Stan Mansion has become a highly successful and popular wedding and event venue, where the historic elegance, the large capacity and many options for customizing events have drawn couples and corporate clients of every kind.
Stan Mansion can seat three hundred guests for a fabulous dinner and up to four hundred twenty guests for a cocktail reception.

Stan Mansion
This 1920s-style, off-white mansion in Logan Square is a perfect option for the couple looking for something a little more classic (the exterior is straight out of The Great Gatsby) in an urban environment. If you’re looking to have a sit-down affair, the ballroom can accommodate 300 guests or 420 revelers for a cocktail reception.

Completely restored last year, the venue includes a draped stage (perfect for the head table or a band), as well as raised spaces along the perimeter that can be converted into lounge areas. The space is yours to customize, which means choosing vendors for catering, music, event decor, valet, and a wedding cake can take some juggling, but the option to bring your own alcohol (as long as it’s served by a licensed, insured catering company) will knock a significant notch off of any budget.

Caterer Guideline

Catering: All events held at the Stan Mansion will be catered by a licensed professional food handler. We can either supply you with a list of our approved caterers or you may bring your own, provided thy meet the Mansion requirements. Caterers must submit a copy of their City of Chicago catering license and their City of Chicago liquor license, proof of general liability insurance in the amount of $2,000,000 and liquor liability insurance in the amount of $2,000,000. These should be a file with the Office of Events 30 days prior to your function.
Certificates of Insurance with the Stan Mansion and Stan Properties   listed as co-insured are required for all events and must be on file one month prior to the event. If you are unable to provide this, we regretfully cannot allow you to work at the Mansion.

Damage Deposit:  A damage deposit in the amount of $500 is required from any caterer contracted for on event at the Stan Mansion .This deposit must be presented to our Office of Events 30 days prior to the event .The deposit will be refund within 10 days provided the final walk through meets the Stan Mansion standards.
Alcoholic Beverages: Must be provided by caterer or client. All leftover beverages must be removed that evening.
Walk Through:  Please have your caterer,  and/or event coordinator call the Office of Events for an appointment so that we may show them the space in which they will be working. Someone in the Office of Events will be available between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.  Special appointments can be arranged.
Rentals: Scheduling constraints may require that rentals be obtained from Hall's Rental Company.
Deliveries: The office is open from 10 am to 4 pm .Monday through Saturday .You MUST check in prior to bringing any equipment, food, liquor and linens in The Stan Mansion with our Office and also when you leave .This rule will be reinforced. We prefer that all major equipment deliveries be made one day prior to the event. After the event ,all equipment  not living that evening must be properly stacked at a designated area. This must be pre-arranged with Stan Mansion unless multiple events have been scheduled on a particular weekend .The Mansion does not accept any responsibility for items left overnight.
A $700 fine will be levied against any company responsible for damaging the property during delivery or pick –up.

Clean Up: The prep rooms along with any other event room that is used MUST be left as they were when you arrived. All garbage and any decoration not being saved must be disposed of in plastic bags and removed from the Mansion. NO GARBAGE will be allowed in the dumpster by the back doors. Extra charges will be incurred for inadequate clean up and taken from your security deposit . Chairs must be stacked  and all tables must be returned to the prep area .Event rooms must be vacuumed swept and mopped prior to caterer’s departure .We will provide the cleaning equipment and supplies.
Caterers are responsible for providing all garbage containers and plastic garbage liners.
Before leaving caterer and event staff personnel will complete a walk –through of all areas used by guests.
Liability: The client assumes full responsibility for the conduct of persons attending the event and for any damages done to any part of the Mansion. The client indemnifies and holds harmless the Mansion against any and all claims, liabilities, or costs in conjunction with the event.
Stan Mansion and its staff shall not be liable for any equipment, property, or personal belongings, whether rental or otherwise which are used or left at The Mansion in connection with an event. In consideration of being granted the right to use Stan Mansion facilities, we hereby release and hold harmless Stan Properties its commissioners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, or right of action rising out of  such  use of the Mansion or its  facilities.

Lost & Found

.The Mansion does not accept any responsibility for items left overnight.or any lost items.






We only do one event at the time .Stan Mansion will be excusively yours on the day of your event .You can start any time you like -the event need to end at 1 am .
